Lives and works in Belgium
Every single work is a moment, a piece of my life. Memories of when I was a little child but also of recent feelings and events. They’re all small pieces of me. By maintaining the naivety of my youth. I form these images to replace human logic with my own seemingly illogical logics. This creates the freedom to reproduce an immediate, unconscious response to reality. Each image is derived from a carefully chosen experience and, in turn, a new experience must be the outcome.. Spontaneity and purity are of great importance. Whether I’m doing a woodcut or making a collage, it all happens sort of subconsciously. I am the storyteller but in the end it is the viewer who interprets my work and shapes the final story.
